Overview
The Growth Summit Presentation was created for A Brighter Future Ahead for Greater Lincolnshire, an event bringing together councillors, MPs, mayoral candidates, and business leaders to explore the benefits of devolution, fairer funding, and long-term investment.
Lincolnshire County Council needed a presentation that could clearly communicate ambitious ideas and inspire confidence in a shared regional vision.
The Challenge
This presentation had to distil complex political, financial, and strategic information - including plans for a Greater Lincolnshire Combined County Authority and a £720m investment proposal into a format that felt engaging, accessible, and persuasive.
The challenge was finding the right balance between authority and approachability, ensuring key points like fairer funding and community benefit resonated with a broad audience of policymakers, press, and the public.
The new designs needed to:
Present complex data and policy information clearly and persuasively
Instil confidence in the region’s leadership and long-term vision
Support the Fairer Funding campaign through strong visual storytelling
Feel professional, credible, and community-focused
Communicate unity and shared purpose among regional stakeholders
Strategy and Creative Direction
I developed a clean, compelling visual framework to communicate the scale and ambition of the project:
Information hierarchy: structured slides so complex policy details (funding figures, responsibilities, timelines) could be grasped at a glance.
Data visualisation: charts and infographics clarified comparisons between rural vs urban funding shortfalls, projected benefits, and key milestones.
Visual tone: confident typography, clear space, and a palette balancing civic gravitas with community warmth to reflect local pride and progress.
The presentation was designed to reinforce that this wasn’t just policy, it was a vision for real change, with tangible impact for the people of Greater Lincolnshire.
