Overview
Snug Cosmetics is a new brand in the relaxation and sleep-aid market. I was commissioned to design a custom pattern that would capture the brand’s focus on comfort, calm, and rest while adding a touch of playful charm.
The Challenge
The design needed to visually communicate the brand’s mission to promote relaxation while standing out on packaging and digital materials. The challenge was to create something soft, distinctive, and memorable that reflected both tranquility and joy.
The new designs needed to:

Add personality through playful yet soothing illustration
Ensure flexibility across multiple product applications
Stand out in a competitive self-care market
Reflect a sense of joy, rest, and reassurance
Strategy and Creative Direction
I created a hand-drawn, sketch-style pattern that feels whimsical yet sophisticated.
Illustration style: Dreamlike and calming, with subtle references to sleep and comfort.
Versatility: Designed so the pattern could be used seamlessly across packaging, stickers, and digital content.
Mood: A balance of softness and energy to capture the transition between restfulness and positivity.
The result is a simple yet enchanting visual system that strengthens the brand’s identity and adds a sense of charm to every touchpoint.
